We currently care for 25 children from underprivileged families. Among them, some of the children have been rescued from unsafe environments. Many children who arrive at our home are undernourished and have poor hygiene practices. We therefore require regular health check-ups and counselling sessions focused on health, nutrition, and hygiene.
The Children’s Home of Adarane Charitable Trust was established in 2010 in Bellahalli, Bangalore (Bengaluru), Karnataka, with a compassionate mission to reach the lives of downtrodden and vulnerable children, irrespective of their religion, caste, or community. The trust works to uphold and establish the basic rights of children, ensuring they receive love, protection, good education, food, and shelter.
A special focus of the trust is on children whose parents are unable to provide the care and love their children need. Adarane adopts these “inspired children,” giving them a safe home and a fresh start in life.

Education is the major activity of the trust. In addition to caring for children. To mainstream semi-orphaned, destitute, uncared, and underprivileged children by providing them love, care, education, and support, ensuring they are not deprived of their basic needs and are given a chance to lead a fulfilling life.
Many underprivileged children are deprived of their childhood rights—the right to live with dignity, the right to education, and the right to love. Instead of attending school, they are often forced into child labour, working as domestic helpers, in tea shops, or in gloomy storerooms, which can push them toward vices and crime..
